In Loving Memory of Charlie
01.10.2012. – 28.10.2024.

Below is the story of how the name ‘paws faithfully’ came into being.

On the 28th October 2024, I had to say a final goodbye to my best friend, Charlie.
Charlie was a rescue… although, if truth be known, I think Charlie rescued me.!
He was my world. Almost everywhere I went, he was with me.
I loved him so much and miss him every hour of every day.

Several years before Charlie passed away, I had a strange dream of a dog writing a letter to someone.

Most of the dream was vague.
It was not Charlie in the dream.
I don’t know who the dog was, or who the dog was writing the letter to…
…nor do I know the contents of the letter.
The one thing that was clear… instead of signing off the letter ‘Yours faithfully’, the dog wrote “Paws faithfully”… as well as adding a couple of paw prints.

The feeling I had from this dream stayed with me…
…and eventually, less than two months before Charlie passed away, I decided to register the pawsfaithfully domain name without really knowing exactly what to do with it…
…although I knew it would somehow be used in support of dog rescue centres.

I am still grieving over Charlie… This will never go away.
As Charlie watches over me, I know he will guide me in the right direction to support dog rescue centres.

Click here to see Charlie’s page.

Will you join Charlie and me to support dog rescue centres..?

Please visit the home page where you will see links to dog rescue centres.
Alternatively, please donate to any rescue centre of your choice.

If you have lost your faithful friend and would like a page similar to Charlie’s, please write to me at the email address below.
I will work with you to create a page in memory of your faithful friend.

There will be a set up charge of £10 which includes your text and up to six photographs plus a link to one video if you have a YouTube channel.

If you wish to keep the page running after the first year, there will be a small annual charge of £5 to cover website running costs.

In addition to the above costs, I want you to promise me that you will give at least £5 each year towards a rescue centre of your choice.

Donating directly to your chosen rescue centre will be more tax efficient so the charity will receive more.

Although I have some other ideas, if you have any comments or ideas on how this website can be used to support dog rescue centres, please let me know by email.
I will consider all ideas.

Thank you for reading this page.
